Exploring the Artistic Evolution of Leland Waltrip

Leland Waltrip (also known as Pooh Waltrip)is an artist born, raised and based in Virginia.

He was drawn to art after a battle with Meningitis and Encephalitis at the age of 5.

The battle left him with a weakened immune system, having to learn to walk and talk again in his younger years, with limited means to express himself, he began drawing. Drawing has became a life long passion that expanded to painting, print making, digital art and (allegedly) some graffiti along the way. From doodles to (allegedly) illegally painting walls, creating art has always been at the forefront of his expression. His passion for art lead him to studied art in college and acquired an associates of applied arts (AAA) degree. He continues to learn, using his creative endeavors as an opportunity to further his knowledge and skills.
